By adding or using CheersBot in any Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service (ToS). If you do not agree, you must not use the bot.
2. Description of Service
CheersBot is a Discord bot designed for voice channel interactions, automated announcements, and server engagement features. It operates based on configurations set by server administrators via commands or settings.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using CheersBot.
- Server administrators are responsible for configuring the bot’s permissions and features (e.g., voice announcements) appropriately and ensuring compliance with Discord’s rules.
- Prohibited actions include using CheersBot to spam, harass, bypass moderation tools, or otherwise disrupt servers.
4. Bot Availability & Modifications
- CheersBot is provided “as-is” with no guarantee of uptime, stability, or continuous availability.
- We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the bot at any time without prior notice.
- New features, updates, and bug fixes may be deployed at our discretion to enhance functionality or security.
5. Data Collection & Privacy
- CheersBot collects only the minimal data required for its operation, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- No personally identifiable information (PII) beyond User IDs (when necessary) is stored or shared.
6. Termination & Restrictions
- We may restrict, suspend, or permanently disable access to CheersBot for users or servers that violate these terms, Discord’s policies, or applicable laws.
- Server administrators may remove CheersBot from their server at any time, terminating its access and data collection.
- Users or servers affected by restrictions may appeal by contacting us via the Homies House Discord server.
7. Limitation of Liability
CheersBot and its developers are not liable for disruptions, data loss, or other issues arising from bot usage. Users assume full responsibility for configuring and operating the bot in their servers.
8. Intellectual Property
CheersBot, including its code and design, is the intellectual property of Wubbity. Users may not copy, modify, or redistribute the bot without permission.
9. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of CheersBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect
CheersBot collects and stores only the minimal data necessary to provide its functionality, including:
- Server IDs & Channel IDs: Used for logging and configuration purposes.
- User IDs: Collected only when required for moderation actions (e.g., bans or mutes) or user-specific settings configured by server administrators.
- Bot-Related Activity Logs: Includes events like joining/leaving voice channels or playing sounds. No voice content is recorded or stored beyond the session.
2. How We Use This Data
- To operate CheersBot’s core functions, such as voice interactions, automated announcements, and server engagement features.
- To provide server administrators with configuration options and activity logs.
- To improve bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stability.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- We do not sell, share, or distribute user data to third parties for any purpose.
- Data is not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
- Bot logs may be temporarily stored on secure, third-party hosting services (e.g., encrypted cloud servers) for debugging purposes but are not accessible to external entities.
4. Data Security & Retention
- Stored data is limited to what’s necessary and protected with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
- Activity logs are retained for up to 30 days unless otherwise configured by server administrators, after which they are automatically deleted.
- Data tied to voice interactions (e.g., temporary processing) is not retained beyond the duration of the session.
5. User Control & Data Removal
- Server administrators can clear bot-related data by removing CheersBot from their server, which deletes all associated logs and settings.
- Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws, users may request access to or deletion of their stored data (e.g., User IDs) by contacting us via the Homies House Discord server.
- Note: CheersBot is not intended for users under 13, in compliance with COPPA.
6. Compliance with Discord & Legal Requirements
- CheersBot adheres to Discord’s Developer Policies and applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
- If required by law, we may disclose minimal necessary data to authorities, but only after proper legal process.
